Cell: A Novel

In the bustling city of Boston, artist Clayton Riddell was on the verge of a major breakthrough. His comic book project was about to be sold, bringing him immense joy. However, this newfound success was abruptly shattered by a catastrophic event known as The Pulse. The Pulse turned cell phone users into ravenous zombies, attacking anyone in their path.

Thankfully, Clayton didn't own a cell phone, sparing him from this horrifying fate. Amidst the chaos, he joined forces with Tom McCourt, a man he met in the ensuing madness, and a young girl named Alice, whom they rescued from the clutches of one of the "crazies." Together, they embarked on a terrifying journey, evading capture by the growing horde led by a figure known as Raggedy Man.

Their destination was Maine, where Clayton's wife and son awaited. They sought refuge in a place called Kashwak, hoping it would offer salvation. Their journey was filled with peril, as they faced relentless pursuit from the crazed zombies. However, their determination and unity fuelled their resilience.
