This book will interpret complicated denominational policies and structure in a thoughtful theological frame resonating with our Wesleyan beliefs and roots. This book will introduce and help prepare students for life as United Methodist professionals by explaining key polity and organizational components of the denomination through a Wesleyan theological lens highlighting connection. Polity and organization are the primary embodiments of The United Methodist Church. Functional in nature, these aspects of the denomination facilitate our mission to make disciples for the transformation of the world.
